FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tansei launches: a simple shelf for temporary things on your Mac

19 July 2026 - Tansei, a lightweight Mac app that keeps the temporary
things you move between apps close while you work, is now available at
https://tansei.io.

Modern work means constantly switching between browsers, documents, AI
tools, design apps, and terminals - carrying snippets along the way. The
clipboard only remembers the last thing copied, while Notes and folders
are built for things you intend to keep. Tansei fills the space in
between: everything you copy is automatically saved to a shelf you can
preview, search, pin, organize, or drag straight back into any app.

Tansei keeps text, links, images, files, colors, and code, each with its
own preview. It opens from the menu bar in any app, stores everything
locally on your Mac, works offline, and requires no account.

Tansei runs on macOS 15 or later (Apple Silicon) and is a one-time
purchase of US$7 (A$9), with a 3-day free trial and no subscription.

"I built Tansei after realizing how much valuable context disappears as
we move between apps," said founder Pooja Phillips. "The name comes from
the Japanese concept of tansei (丹精), representing care, dedication, and
thoughtful attention to detail, the same philosophy behind every
interaction in the product."

Available now at https://tansei.io/get.
